Timerow collects analytics identifiers, usage data, support information, and cloud-synced content needed to operate, secure, improve, and monetize the app. We do not sell personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains how an individual developer provides Timerow and handles information when you use the mobile app, cloud sync, analytics, purchases, ads, and support channels. This draft should be reviewed for your specific legal needs before launch.

Information we collect

  • Analytics identifiers and usage data, such as app opens, screens viewed, feature usage, session duration, approximate region, device type, operating system, app version, crash data, performance events, and in-app purchase events.
  • Cloud-synced content you create, upload, save, or sync through the app, including related metadata needed to store, secure, and sync that content.
  • Support information you choose to send to support@otterspark.xyz, such as your email address, screenshots, device details, and issue descriptions.
  • Purchase and entitlement information from Apple App Store or Google Play, such as subscription status, product identifiers, renewal state, and transaction metadata. We do not receive full payment card numbers.

Information we do not intentionally collect

  • We do not collect full payment card numbers. App store providers process subscriptions and in-app purchases.
  • We do not use native GPS Location Services unless a future app feature asks for permission first.
  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or a higher age where local law requires parental consent. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact support@otterspark.xyz and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

How we use information

  • Provide app features, cloud sync, subscriptions, in-app purchases, and customer support.
  • Measure app usage, reliability, crashes, and performance.
  • Detect, prevent, and investigate abuse, security issues, fraud, or policy violations.
  • Show ads if enabled and manage tracking choices required by platform rules.
  • Comply with legal, tax, app store, and enforcement obligations.

Legal bases

Where required by law, we process information based on your consent, performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and improving the app, legal obligations, and protection of rights, safety, and security.

Analytics, app stores, and ads

Google Analytics for Firebase may assign an App Instance ID and process analytics identifiers, usage events, crash data, and performance data. Apple App Store and Google Play process billing and entitlement data under their own terms. If ads are enabled, advertising partners may process device identifiers or advertising IDs subject to consent, device settings, and platform rules such as Apple App Tracking Transparency.

Sharing

We may share information with service providers and platform partners that help operate the app, including Google/Firebase analytics and crash tools, cloud hosting and sync providers, Apple App Store, Google Play, support tools, and advertising networks if ads are enabled. We do not sell personal information.

International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. When required, we use reasonable safeguards for international transfers, such as platform contractual protections, provider data-processing terms, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

Retention

We keep cloud-synced content while needed to provide sync features or until you delete it, subject to backups and legal exceptions. Analytics and crash data are kept as long as needed to improve and secure the app. Support records are kept as long as needed to resolve requests and protect rights. Purchase, tax, fraud, and legal records may be kept longer where required or permitted by law.

Your choices and rights

  • Use device settings to limit analytics, advertising identifiers, notifications, tracking, or app permissions where available.
  • Manage subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds through Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
  • Contact support@otterspark.xyz to request access, correction, deletion, export, restriction, objection, opt-out, withdrawal of consent, or appeal where applicable law provides those rights.
  • We may verify your request and may deny or limit requests where allowed by law, including for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, backups, or rights of others.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after an update means you acknowledge the updated policy, except where law requires another form of notice or consent.
